What to expect from a PopUp Marketing Engagement
- I work as your marketer - not an outsider. Having a company email, job title, and systems access is non-negotiable. I integrate as part of your team.
- A seat at the leadership table matters. Earning trust takes time, but in every successful engagement, I’ve had direct input at the leadership level.
- Fully insured. PopUp Marketing has $2M in liability insurance coverage, to give you peace of mind when engaging me as a contractor and to be compliant with any funding requirements.
I find a way. As a solo marketer, I’ve led global marketing programs from NZ into the US, UK, Europe, and Asia on a comparative shoe string. Sometimes, the smallest first step is enough to spark the change you need.

B2B and tech marketing covers a vast spectrum - no one person can do it all. If you already have trusted suppliers, I’ll continue working with them. If not, I can introduce expert partners, whom you engage directly as needed.

PopUp Marketing Pricing
I believe in transparency—no hidden fees, just clear pricing:
- Half-day rate: $650 + GST
- Full-day rate: $1,200 + GST
Based on an 8-ish hour day, with a minimum half-day engagement (5-ish hours), up to two days per week. We agree additional expenses and they are on-charged without mark up.
Why 5-ish or 8-ish? My focus is on delivering impact—not tracking hours. Clients often say it feels like I’m full-time. Tracking half days enables me to deliver more.”

Leaving You is My Success Story
The goal? To transition marketing leadership when it makes sense. This isn’t time-bound. Some companies move on in 12–24 weeks, others continue for a year or more.
When that time comes, we transition smoothly:
- 4–6 weeks of onboarding a new hire and coaching them into the role.
- Monthly mentoring for 2–3 months post-handover.
- Quarterly or annual check-ins (if needed).
This isn’t one-and-done. Teams evolve, people move on, and new opportunities arise. Once we’ve worked together, bringing me back is always an easy option

PopUp isn’t a recruitment agency, but I’ve trained as a recruiter and hired marketers at all levels. The key difference?
- I only recruit for my clients, with deep knowledge of your business.
- I can run the full hiring process or support your HR/recruitment team.
- I provide technical interviews, shortlisting, and onboarding support.
- No extra cost—it’s included as part of my role.
