WORKING GENIUS FACILITATION

Leading Working Genius Facilitation in New Zealand

Developed by Patrick Lencioni and The Table Group in 2020, Working Genius is a revolutionary model designed to help individuals and teams leverage their natural talents to achieve greater productivity and fulfillment.

Unlike traditional personality assessments, Working Genius focuses on the specific types of work that energize and drain you, making it a practical tool for enhancing team dynamics and performance.

As one of the first 600 certified facilitators globally, I have successfully guided marketing teams, leadership groups, and entire organizations to implement Working Genius across New Zealand.

Getting Started with Working Genius

Working Genius facilitation is tailored to your company following proven practice developed by its founders, The Table Group. I offer a range of options – but I am always happy to talk through what you’re wanting to achieve and how I might assist with that.

1. Take the assessment

Begin by completing the Working Genius assessment, which provides a comprehensive report detailing your unique profile.

2. Personal consultation

If you desire deeper insights or have questions about your results, feel free to reach out for a personalized consultation.

1. Initial discussion

We'll start with a conversation to understand your objectives and how Working Genius can support your goals.

2. Assessment completion

Team members will complete the assessment within a designated timeframe (typically seven days).

3. Leader review

We'll review the results with team leaders to identify success factors for the upcoming workshop.

4. Team workshop

A 90 to 120-minute session (depending on numbers) to reflect on results and strategize practical applications in daily operations.

5. Optional individual sessions

Thirty-minute consultations with team members for personalized insights.

6. Follow-up

A one-month post-workshop check-in to assess progress and address any further questions.

7. Optional ongoing coaching and consultation

A tailored program of onboarding new team members, quarterly updates, coaching and consultation.

After a successful leadership team engagement, we can extend the Working Genius model throughout your organization:

1. Leadership review

Evaluate outcomes and set objectives for broader implementation across the teams.

2. Company Introduction

Conduct a one-hour session to introduce Working Genius to all employees.

3. Team Workshops

Facilitate sessions with individual teams, following the structure outlined above.

Ongoing support includes providing assessments for new hires, quarterly coaching sessions, and continuous guidance to ensure sustained success.

Pick my brain

Let’s talk through what you’re wanting to achieve and how Working Genius can help you with that.

So what is Working Genius?

Working Genius identifies six distinct "Geniuses" that are essential for any project or initiative:

1. Wonder

The ability to ponder and question the need for change or improvement.

2. Invention

The creativity to generate innovative ideas and solutions.

3. Discernment

The insight to evaluate and assess ideas effectively.

4. Galvanizing

The enthusiasm to rally and motivate others into action.

5. Enablement

The drive to support and assist in implementing ideas.

6. Tenacity

The determination to see tasks through to completion.

Each individual typically has two of these as their Genius, is competent in two, and finds two frustrating. Understanding your unique Working Genius profile enables you to align the work you do with your strengths, leading to increased job satisfaction and outputs.
